Flexing (Fantasy Football 2021 – Week 11)

Are you looking for the perfect flexing Week 11 options to put into your lineup? Do not worry, as I have you covered with the top flexing plays each week. The formula is simple. I look at running backs and wide receivers starting with the RB25/WR25 and dig deeper. I use FantasyPros ADP for the rankings and its one-point PPR. Fantasy Points are translated to FPs.

Running Backs

JD McKissic

JD McKissic has caught 24 passes over his last four games, but his rushing yardage total has dropped off since Week 6. In those four contests, he has hit double-digit points twice. McKissic will face a Panthers defense that ranks third against the run and fourth against targets to running backs. It will be a steep hill to climb, but the Football Team should be behind, lending itself to drop-offs from Taylor Heinicke. Also, both Ricky Seals-Jones and Logan Thomas are out. In their place are two rookies, Sammis Reyes and John Bates. McKissic should be the one with the majority of targets. McKissic ranks 27th.

Alex Collins

Chris Carson is now out for the rest of the season, giving Alex Collins the reigns. However, Collins’ role should still have limitations as Rashaad Penny is healthy. Outside of his 20 carry performance in Week 6 against Pittsburgh, Collins only has averaged 13 carries in the last three contests. His role should expand, but he doesn’t play a role in the passing game, limiting his floor. Collins ranks 28th, but the Seahawks face the Cardinals, who have been atrocious against the run (20th in FPs allowed). Collins could exploit and deliver double-digit points once again.

D’Ernest Johnson

D’Ernest Johnson has had two excellent games in each of his starts. In Week 7, he had 146-yards and a touchdown. Johnson then followed it up with a 157 total-yard with seven receptions. These two contests gave him 38 FPs. Nick Chubb will return, but Johnson should still have a Kareem Hunt-type role against the Lions. Detroit is horrible in stopping the run (28th most FPs allowed) and is ranked 28th.

Wide Receivers

Rashod Bateman

Rashod Bateman has been a steady double-digit point producer since coming off his injury in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Chargers. In fact, the only week he didn’t hit double-digits was against the Chargers. However, Bateman is still waiting for his first touchdown. Bateman has an excellent chance of hitting the top-25 this week as LB-Khalil Mack, S-Eddie Jackson, DB-Artie Burns, and LB-Alec Ogletree are out. Bateman ranks 30th this week.

Michael Gallup

Michael Gallup returned last week with minimal results (3-42). However, Amari Cooper is out (COVID-19) of this contest, and Gallup should take over his role. The Cowboys will face the Chiefs, who allow the ninth-lowest FPs to wide receivers. However, this game is slated for 56.5 points, and Gallup should be vastly involved in this heavy offensive affair. Gallup ranks 38th, but a touchdown is in the cards for the deep threat.

Robby Anderson

Robby Anderson was basically sitting on empty with Sam Darnold as his quarterback. Still, it took only one pass by Cam Newton to rejuvenate a fledgling season. It is unclear if Anderson is back, but the change to Newton is all that could be needed. Washington is one of the worst defenses in football this season, and they are 31st in FPs allowed to wide receivers. Anderson ranks 50th, so a jump of 25 spots is difficult, but he can on just one touchdown throw.
