Review from Week 10

Justin Herbert – Finished QB24 on the week, excellent trim.  He has no weapons, but his schedule improves so that he may improve for the rest of the season.

Nyheim Hines – Finished RB58 on the week, excellent trim.  James Cook is looking like the complimentary back for this offense.

Robert Woods – Finished WR80 on the week, excellent trim.  He got seven targets but only two receptions for 10 yards.  Things might start opening up for him if Tannehill gets healthier, but I still don’t want any pass catchers in this offense.

This is when every position on your roster counts, as every win and point matters now. Tiebreakers and playoff push become important now, so make sure you follow Mike Reedy’s Untangling the Wire to get in some excellent players with excellent playoff schedules.

Jared Goff (QB – Detroit Lions)

Rostership Percentages:
Yahoo – 57% Ownership
ESPN – 38% Ownership
Sleeper – 62% Ownership (Includes dynasty)
Season Ranking – QB17
Week 8 Finish – QB16
Week 9 Finish – QB19
Week 10 Finish – QB22

Not the same as it was at the beginning of the year; the Lions’ offense has been mainly through the run game as of late.  On top of that, the Lions have a brutal schedule that will make it tough to start Goff confidently. Look to streaming with others going forward.

Keenan Allen (WR – Los Angeles Chargers)

Rostership Percentages:
Yahoo – 93% Ownership
ESPN – 93% Ownership
Sleeper – 95% Ownership (Includes dynasty)
Season Ranking – WR139

It is time we move on from Keenan Allen for the NFL 2022 season.  He hasn’t played since Week 7, and you can’t trust him to finish a game at this point.  He said he wouldn’t play unless he is 100%, but who knows when that is? He clogs your roster if you can’t place him on an IR spot.

There are so many other options to put on here with all the injuries, so I’ll keep it short and sweet since most of us will be trimming involuntarily.  Good luck to everyone making their playoff push!

I was asked to join a fantasy football league in High School and I haven't been the same since. I love the competitive nature, the communities it builds, and the thinking and content that can be created. I am hoping to connect to larger audiences in helping them grow into becoming knowledgable managers and I am open to discussions.
